Swiftcart
Privacy policy
This explains what Swiftcart collects when you shop, sell or deliver with us, and what we do with it. Questions? See our contact page.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address when you create an account.
- Delivery addresses and the map location you pin, so a rider can find you.
- Order history, payments made through Razorpay, wallet balance and refunds.
- For vendors: store name, city, service pincodes and contact number.
- For riders: name, phone, city, vehicle and live location while a delivery is in progress.
How we use it
- To take, pack, deliver and track your orders.
- To send order updates and, if you opt in, offers and stories by email.
- To settle payments to stores and payouts to riders.
- To handle cancellations, returns and refunds.
- To keep Swiftcart safe and prevent misuse.
Who sees your details
- The store packing your order sees the items and the delivery area.
- The rider delivering it sees your name, phone and address until delivery is complete.
- Payment details are handled by Razorpay; we never store your card or UPI credentials.
- We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Location
- A rider's location is shared only between picking up your order and delivering it, and only with you and Swiftcart staff.
- Your pinned address is stored so repeat orders reach the same place.
Your choices
- You can edit your name, phone and saved addresses from your account at any time.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter whenever you like.
- You can ask us to delete your account and personal data by contacting us.
Keeping it safe
- Data is stored on secured servers with access limited to what each role needs.
- Stores see only their own orders; riders see only their own deliveries.
